| Photoshop Template Tutorial |
| Step 1 |
| Open the photo image that is to be used in the photo template. |
| Go to the menu bar and choose (Select) (All) or Ctrl+A. |
| After the photo is selected go to the menu bar again and choose (Edit) (Copy) or Ctrl+C. |
| Step 2 |
| With the photo template open click on the photo layer. |

| Go to the menu bar and choose (Select) (Load Selection) or you can hold down the Ctrl key and click on the photo layer with your mouse. |
| To paste the image go to the menu bar and choose (Edit) (Paste Into) or Shift+Ctrl+V. |
| Your image will now appear as a new layer and should be below the border layer as shown. |

| Step 3 |
| To resize your image go to the menu bar and choose (Edit) (Transform) (Scale) or Ctrl T. |
| Enter in the percentage you would like for it to be in the Width and Height scale at the top and click the link icon to maintain aspect ratio. |

Step 4 |
| If you need to move your image around you can do so by using the move tool . |

| Step 5 |
| To edit the text, select the appropriate text layer from the layers palette then select the (Type Tool) from the toolbox. |

| Highlight the text with your mouse or double-click on the layer and type in your new text. |
| Step 6 |
| When completely finished with your changes you will need to flatten all layers by going to the menu bar and selecting (Layer) (Flatten Image). |
| Save your new file as either a jpeg or tiff file for printing. |
| Optional Step |
| To restore your template back to the original state, go to the (History) palette and click on the thumbnail image showing at the top. |
